Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born the 31st of January 1974. She's best known as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She is Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences of playing rehearsals with her mom. Silk starred in numerous commercials for kids. The Bachelor in Arts was conferred by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto for further development of her acting career in November 1999, and during the next decade, she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an Actorsworkshop held located in Los Angeles. Following their engagement in 2008, they got married in 2009. In Fredericton on the 10th of April in 2011, they renewed vows following her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in May of 2016. Silk's television work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk was pregnant during shooting the final season of the third season. The actress announced her pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special of January 6, 2013. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. On June 20, 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to return to the series. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top Television Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its growing popularity on social networks has gained a significant online following.
